No the unflavored tastes like concentated whey, kinda slimy
to me at least.
I mix mine with a fork or a couple of chopstick in room
temperature water about 6 A.M. cover it, stick it in the
refrigerator and drink it at 7 AM unless I am exceptionally
absent minded. At 6 I take my Thyroid USP on an empty stomach
and assume that an hour later I can take my UWP on an empty
stomach.
I assume that on an empty stomach any time of day would do
but I know my stomach is empty after 12 hours of fasting at
6 AM and an hour later at 7 I assume the 1.5 grains of thyroid
USP are digested and largely absorbed. If I had more than one
life to play around with I would take the thyroid and the whey
together but in this life I need the most bang for the buck and
this is what my schedule is based on. If I was to recover and
go back to work I might change the schedule to be more convienent
to a working person.
I was taking it about two weeks before I notice that my legs
were no long so weak and trembling.
I don't know about using it with juice as I definitely have
never used juice. I have mixed additional doses with other
liquids like goat milk and rice milk but the early dose has
always been with water.
I drink a lot of water having given up cola and the like
many years ago due to the price and the caffine.
I am glad you enjoy the humor but it was directed not at
Dr.Weil's assets but those of his fans. The last book by
Dr.W that I bought was "Chocolate to Morphine". I knew most
of what he had to say but still wanted it in book form.

Same to you Pamela. Usually I would snip my little note
about the breathing article but it is doing well this time
so am leaving it in place for late comers. I do wish the
rules of the mailing list permitted posting it here but I
have to abide as well as I can by the rules. I have been
cited in the past for being too snippy on the list.
By the way my motive in writing the article is because
my teacher bade me to pass on what I learned and the article
is the most convienent way to accomplish that. If I was less
ill and could gather the will I once had when I leaned to sit
in seiza(sitting on legs and feet) I would have gone ahead and
gotten my teaching certificate in this technique.
CFIDS/ME used up the careers that my bipolar illness did not
destroy.

I decided to leave in my little whey note this time too
for the same reason.

"Prohibition will work great injury to the cause of
temperance. It is a species of intemperance within itself, for
it goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to
control a man's appetite by legislation, and makes a crime out of
things that are not crimes. A Prohibition law strikes a blow at
the very principles upon which our government was founded".
