Liver Volume Estimation in obese
Hi!
I am a postdoc. working on obesity related projects. Our group wants to
estimate liver volume in obese people.Which is the best method to
choose-- USG/CT/MRI?. Literature is conflicting and sparse on this
issue, though a few publications are there on normal weighted
persons. Will be grateful for any information on this and refernces.
Thanks
Ram

Re: Liver Volume Estimation in obese

please remember that a regular CT and MRI scanners are limited by 2
reasons:weight and diameter of waist. if you are going to use CT or MRI be
sure that the pacient fits there
