Tumour not visible on MRI ?
Hello
My friend has just lost his wife due to a brain tumour he told me.
He said she had hardly any symptoms, didn't realise something was wrong until
she started grounding her feet when walking and getting peoples names wrong
and was still going to work up to two weeks before she died.
He said that she had an MRI and the tumour didn't show ? is this possible or
in the trauma of losing his wife has he got this bit wrong.
He said the doctors told him after the post mortem the tumour was large and
fast growing.
I know this won't bring her back but could a tumour escape an MRI.
Thanks Paul (undergoing neurological tests at present for my own problem)
