I did see one of the packets of peanuts with that on it, honestly I did.
It was the 'may' that got me.

whenever i see this warning on products which i consider to be unlikely
to contain i wonder in what sort of factory is this made?  are there
conveyor belts running parallel and someone on line A might have a bad
day and sprinkles peanut dust over the products on line B?

sentences and odd wording can put the strangest damned images in my
head.

i worked as a waitress once and there was a warning printed on the glass
coffee pot, not to be used as a means of self-defense or weapon (can't
remember exact wording).  made me wonder . . .  if when attacked by an
enraged waitress the attackee would sue the coffeemaker manufacturer
instead of the waitress/restaurant.
