Buddhism clings to neither the concept of a soul nor the concept of no soul
"Is there a self?"
or "Is there not a self?"
these questions being outside ones domain
and leading the contemplative to vexation
rather than release from suffering
(Ananda Sutta, SN, 5:44, 10).

Re: Buddhism clings to neither the concept of a soul nor the concept of no soul
My dear Curly,

please note that in Buddhism nothing is permenant.. However we know
that a soul is permenant feature..Same identity goes from one body to
the other..

If a man has no idea what is the basics of Buddhism, how he can be a
master?

If a man has taken Barbital tablets, how he become a Master?

So please think about all these and read a lot to understand the basics
of Buddhism..

With compassion,
