Third Eye Focusing technique, Shiva Yoga
Hi.

Where I can find more about "Third Eye Focusing technique" and steps for
practice?
Any book, e-book, tutorial, URL, ...?

Can anyone recommend a good book about "Third Eye Focusing technique"?

I get advice to look for ..
"Higher Psychical Development - The teachings of the Yogis by Hereward
Carringtion. 1983, NewCastle Publishing., Inc. North Hollywood, California."
... but I can't find this anywhere.

I also hear that Shiva Yoga is technique for opening "Third Eye".
Is it?

Thanks.

That would be "the lessons" of Paramahansa Yogananda. Kriya Yoga

http://www.paramahansayogananda.org..ex.html#lessons

I highly recommend them. You'll get alot of real yoga along with the
eye-opening stuff.

*I'm from Europe and this lessons are in LA.

Can anyone recommend a good book where I can find more about "Third Eye
Focusing technique"?

Should I look in "Shiva Yoga" books and/or "Kriya Yoga" books for technique
for opening "Third Eye"?

There must be some yoga book(s) which, among other things, explain "Third
Eye Focusing technique"?

Thanks in advance!

The lessons are "home study". They are mailed bi-monthly. About 50 or
so a year for 3 years. You might email SRF and inquire. I am certain
they mail to Europe :-) SRF is also represented in ashrams and centres
throughout Europe

One of the other posters did bring up an important consideration. There
are those who would suggest it is not wise to practice any yoga
technique "out of context" of a system or without supervision of a
teacher who has prepared the yogi for safe and proper learning of that
technique.

Are you a yogi? May I ask, what you interest in "third eye" techniques
is.

BTW, I would think that a search on the internet would bring you tons
to read "about" the technique and probably some discussion how to go
about practicing it. Also BTW, like many things in yoga I am sure there
isn't a single technique but probably hundreds of variations.

I just want to learn more about that.

Can you recommend any book/s.
I was search internet, but I don't know what is true and what isn't.
So, I need advise about book(s) and I will then find more about the author
of the book. And his reputation.
