Why left nostril to start and end alternate nostril breath? 
I've been searching my books and searching the internet. I've always
learned to start and end with the left nostril when doing alternate
nostril breathing, but I have no idea why this is so.

What I do know is left is moon/ida. Right is sun/pingala. Does this
have anything to do with it?
