Hi Socks, I changed the subject line, in case there are some out there who
might benefit.
(not everyone reads every post).

Training the brain to do three (or more) things at once.
I expect it's like learning to bicycle ride; at some point, it becomes
automatic?

Does what figgertoes say, get in the text?
If so, I wonder how purrs and meows translate to text?

I think that''s true of most of us.

You speak slower and more deliberately? or you say more?

oh sorry; when you respond that wakes them up.
I don't know the solution to that one.
Some may have larger homes; where what happens in one room impacts little on
another.
Felines (and dogs) respond as soon as any human is awake anyway; don't they?
Feed me, pet me, walk me; amuse me; then they go snooze when things get too
boring :-)

That would be my spousal unit. the first step in implementing is
training it to your voice. It is smart enough to recognize my voice
versus others. Figger will get trained after I check out.

I say more. I add adjectives. I also ramble sometimes as a placeholder
while thinking of what comes next. That is from my tostmasters training
that cured me of um's and er's.

It's five a.m. right now so I am typing.

She'll still hear my side of the conversation. In the morning, she
blames me if she interrupts getting ready for work to join the
conversation. Telling her not to join the conversation doesn't buy me
anything.
