Yes publicly now... but that is pretty recent, and I still do not
trust the church to turn in pedophiles to the police.. their has been a
culture of hiding even allowing such priests to carry on their abuse in
parish after parish. Without any thought for the children and the family
they would ruin.

(Grin ) you got that entirely the wrong way around. I have an absolute
hatred for pedophilia because I have seen it from the front end as it
were.

No I cant Don, how much fuss was their in the media and from parents
before the Catholic church would even acknowledge their was a problem
never mind going public with it. That is half the problem right their,
if its going to hurt the churches image, cover it up and pay off the
witnesses.

Why because I hate pedophilia and find the catholic churches abuse of
its people disgraceful... It seems on your side your not willing to
look at some of the real problems in the catholic church, you want to
hush them up and pretend its all gone away now.
That is foolish, those who knew about the pedophile priests, allowed it
to go on, and some of them must be at the very top of the church...
When the catholic church stops hiding and lying and paying people off
perhaps they will regain some respect but that will take a very long
time, and I don't think it will happen in my lifetime.
