Hello JD!

I perceive no harm in you, nor injustice, nor anger, nor greed, nor
pride, nor bad intent. You come across as a very decent fellow, to say
the least. I would answer more of your posts if they weren't so many.
You see, the sheer volume of posts from you frankly scares me. It
frightens me, because if I started to talk to you, and we should happen
to enter a discussion where I felt I had to, for instance, clarify what
I was saying, or ask you to clarify what you were saying, or just
discuss the pros and cons of some subject, I would not stand a chance to
read all the text you are capable of putting out, and even less would I
have a chance to answer all of it. It is also somewhat hard to
understand what you write, probably because you don't really intend to
be as lucid as possible in your stream-of-consciousness writing, so it
would take much time for me just to understand what your post was saying
in regard to a post of mine.

Do you see now why I'm almost always afraid to comment on your posts? I
think that most of the regulars here in alt.yoga feel the same, namely
that you are a nice, friendly person, whose posts may well be
interesting or thought-provoking, but that it might be too much of a
hassle to get involved in a discussion with someone who has your
capacity for verbiage.

So it's not you, it's your writing-style that turns people away from
answering. I know you won't change your style just because of my
criticism, but perhaps, if you really need to get an answer from time to
time, just so you see that you are not forgotten, maybe you could, at
times, make a post that is short and planned to be easy to understand
for the average reader?
