Re: stop smoking shot
I read up on it quite a bit a few years ago (the Tampa one).

I think it is the way to go,especially for anyone that has trouble
starting a quit. It's affordable, and should get you through the first
two weeks as painlessly as possible.

I decided not to have it done, because I found starting quits easier
than staying quit. I had more trouble with the mental aspects of
quitting than the physical. So for me, I needed help staying quit from 2
weeks to a year (help which I found here and with qso and Carr and
writing my online diary). But some people find it hard to stay quit even
a few days, and this anticholigenic method can get 2 weeks momentum into
a quit..

I have talked to two people that had it done. They highly recommended
it, and I know the one is still quit (not sure about the other one).

Re: stop smoking shot
I'm sceptical. If these medications were widely tested and proven effective
for smoking cessation, your family doctor could and would give them to you
in his office. The web site reeks of a money-making deal despite their
references to medical jargon and attempted justification (I find their
attempts amusing.. let's throw around some medical terms and testing and
the title 'MD" and wa llaaa.. $$$). People who want to quit smoking look
for the easy way out but there just isn't one! You may be able to psyche
yourself up enough for a good attempt by paying the $300 or $400 and
enduring their testing and counseling but what it eventually comes down to
is you wanting to quit smoking badly enough and your willingness to endur
the coinsiding physical discomfort and mental challenges. If you want to
quit, just make up your mind to do it, come here for FREE support, see your
doctor for zyban or antidepressents, get the patch or gum or inhaler over
the counter, and .. and.. JUST DO IT!

JMHO

Ok, that will be $1000 please.
