Oh yes Paul, when i became very ill at first it was with
Candida. The second book on Candida that i read was
Dr. William Crook's, The Yeast Connection. The 1st one
was The Yeast Syndrome. I can't remember the authour
but, i still have both books. with the 1st one i went on what
was called the MEVY diet. i only was allowed to eat meat,
eggs, vegetables and plain yogurt. in the back of the book
it listed drs. in certain states that worked with Candida
patients. one happened to be in my home town.
he gave me injections and put me on my 1st try of Nystatin
but, i later found out after a year of not getting results &
still being very ill. that the doses of Nystatin were the amount for a small
child. it was the liquid and not strong
enough. a new dr. who was a MD. and nutritionist put me
on a new powdered dose and a new food plan. the herx
reactions were strong and it still took 2 more years to see
improvements. You wrote the Nystatin helps the immune system in WELL people.
I was far from being WELL with
a severe case of Candida spread throughout my Body
not just my Gut.
As i stated before in my other 2 posts to you. i have read
several articles already about the AD med. new Milnacipran.
I even have the pharmacy site and know how much it
costs. I still don't understand how it is already being sold
in the US wile still under trial. I thought all meds had to
have FDA approval. I imagine the site is illegal because
you can get it without a perscription.
