One can and should use knowledge of probability to their advantage.

You know I have been diagnosed as bipolar.
Now my bipolar diagnosis is because of how I reacted to the drug
Zooloft.
It caused me to experience God in a way that worried my doctor.
Now in that God manic I found myself in I experience "coincidence" in
everything. That is that everything seems magikal when I am in that
state. Now it was more than the zooloft that triggered it.
There were some things in my life at that time that became clear. And
then there was something I was doing that was perfect and wonderful
and I was thoroughly at peace and had great clarity.
So that clarity opened my eyes to "coincidence" which is just the way
life is. Life sang with me when I was singing and it was wonderful and
I felt great love and awe for the way of things at that time.
