maybe the language got in the way, "object" is something external to
ones subjective experience
the "objects," in this relative case, are people, you, me, etc.

seems to me that I do exert influence on the world around me,
some of it I am aware of
some I am not.

some years ago a woman came to one of my yoga classes.
It was her first class.
She never came back.
...? yawn snore, another taste tester???
...not at all..
a few months ago, a friend of hers who has been attending classes
told me that the woman was blown away by the class, never experienced
anything like it, so much so that after the class she underwent yoga
teacher training and is now teaching.

who'da thunk it.

apparently, this relative manifestation of the divine does influence
other relative manifestations of the divine.
