All you ever wanted to know about Nostrils
Back Atcha,
I am a yoga teacher. Don't know about the hot and cold nostrils though I
certainly don't know it all. A great resource for understanding the
mechanism of breathing, plus some breathing & cleansing practices, can be
found in a wonderful little book - Science of Breath- A Practical Guide by
Swami Rama et al. Great bits like how we breath alternately through each
nostril for two hours at a time. How the nasal passages form the floor of
the brain like the upper soft palate forms the floor of the nasal
passages..and the implications of all this.
