| I can't reply specifically as I don't know what UPJ is or what that problem
connotes, but many people around the world are living very successfully with
one kidney including those born that way, living donors and transplant
recipients, self included. I've been living with one or none kidneys since
1981. Currently have 4 but 2 have atrophied and one (transplanted) hasn't
worked for 5 years; but the other is only 25 years old and has been happily
living within me for the last 15 months.
