leg pain & weakness

| Hi, I have been on hemodialysis for a little over two years,
and lately have been experiencing leg pain and weakness following my
treatments. It appears to be getting worse. All my labs are good with
the exception of my phosphorus which is slightly elevated. I take 1000
mg of Fosrenol to treat it.
What I would like to know if any of you know if there is
anything I can take to overcome the leg problem. Normally I feel
completely washed out after treatment anyway, but usually feel pretty
good the next day and very good the day of my dialysis then it starts
all over again. Thanks for any advice you can give....
It's not how many times we have tried and failed that matter, but
whether we tried at all.

If the pain is caused by leg cramps following dialysis or while
connected to the machine can mean that your intake of fluid between
sessions is higher than recommended. If you're gaining more than two
kilos of fluid weight between treatments you can experience cramping
when it's removed.
