Hi,

I don't know if anyone can help me, but I am currently carrying out
research for the BBC into the problem of people travelling to other
countries for kidney transplants - and paying for the privilege.
There's plenty of anecdotal evidence of this going on....but so far I
have found very little direct evidence.

I am looking for anyone who can give me information about this subject,
especially those who are aware people who suddenly no longer need
dialysis....or those who have returned for dialysis after a botched
operation.

All responses will be treated in confidence. The aim of the research is
to get an accurate picture about the extent of this problem, why it is
occurring - and what could be done to stop it. It would also be an
opportunity to highlight the problem caused by the unnecessary shortage
of registered donors in the UK.

Many Thanks

Matthew Gull
