Would have thought that most modern machine's have a battery backup?? I
shall ask at our unit tommorrow if I remember!

We had a power failure at our unit and the hospital's backup generator
kicked in.
Lot of alarming on the machines but after a while dialysis proceeded as
normal. Worst situation you can always purchase a mini backup battery
generator.. assuming you have the funds
