Hello to all,

I've a problem of coming Red Cells in Urine Detail Analysis for last 10
years. I've done Urine and Blood Test lot of time, and same result
occurs. Protien is also shown in Urine Test. My creatinine was 1.0 3
years back and now is 1.7. I've done IVP+MCUG 2 times, 1st was 10 years
back and 2nd currently, and both show that there is no problem with
Kidney. Also done Ultrasound but it also was cleared. I've slightly
paid in kidney side also.

Any one can have experience the same or any idea what other factors
cause the Red Cells coming in Urine.

Regards,
AAV.

How much protein is in the urine? If it's under 1 gram/24 hours, it
could be benign microhematuria. It could also be a bunch of other
things; you have not provided very much information and even then, only
a doctor can give a reasonable opinion after taking a detailed history,
examining past test results and deciding what, if any, further tests are
needed.

I'm guessing there is minimal proteinuria since you've been having this
problem for 10 years and haven't had a renal biopsy and your creatinine
is within normal. You'll have to ask your doctor, but from the scant
information you have provided, there doesn't seem to be much to worry
about. Keep your blood pressure within normal limits, maintain normal
blood glucose (if diabetic) and avoid overusing NSAID drugs - these are
things everybody should do to maintain good kidney health.
