Alive and kicking. I'm having a cystoscopy/ureteroscopy with holmium
laser and left ureteral stent placement in about 8.5 hours to remove an
infected stone in the lower pole of my left (duh) kidney, which has been
causing about a year's worht of chronic renal infection and massive
scarring. And I still have FSGS, very early diabetic nephropathy and
(maybe) Minimal Change Disease as well (per biopsy - I can't make this
stuff up). So good time for you to drop by!

Glad you're still around - I was just wondering about you the other day
and was assuming you were busy with Real Life. I'm glad to see I was
right!

Sorry, what I know about amyloidosis is *very* limited, though there are
quite a few amyloidois information websites (there was a brief period
when they thought I had it; obviously I have other stuff). I'll try to
look them up if you'd like when I'm through with surgery and back up to
staring at a computer.
