A level of 300 means his kidneys are not working very well, in fact they are
probably on their way to failing, however, its important to know whether the
creatnine level of 300 denotes a rapid deterioration (were his levels normal
recently?) or whether this is a gradual rise in level. If its a gradual
increase in the level it may mean a longer period left in which his kidneys
will continue to maintain him. So whilst a reading of 300 is not good news,
you'll really need to find out from the doctors just how bad it is.
