Author Potassium/Protein in soy beans and tofu?

Hi Guys.

It looks like my second kidney transplant is coming to an end.

I have already begun diet restrictions and I was wondering what the
potassium/protein content was for Tofu and Soy Bean. The reason is that I
enjoy eating tofu and drinking certain soy milks.

Thanks.

Dan.

Sorry to hear it.

I enjoy tofu and my dietician said the protein value outweighs the extra
potassium/phosphorus.

Does that mean that the amounts (protein/potassium/phosphorous) are
minimal/negligible?

I'm unlikely to have a bucket of tofu every day, but if I know its harmless
it allows me to have more of "something" to fill the belly.

Beans of all types have phosphorus and potassium, so it would not be
negligible.

Take a look at http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/search/

100g of tofu has
Protein 17.19 g
Phosphorus, P 287 mg
Potassium, K 146 mg

Check the site for other information.
