| I have had a double j stent fitted into my right ureta to maintain a urine
flow from my kidney to my bladder, this device is making my life hell, I
have a constant feeling of a need to urinate with no urine present.
Is there any way of easing the symptoms?

This is not usual behaviour, I had one last year for six months and did
not feel this way.

Talk to your surgeon, looks like maybe the JJ is misplaced ?

I had the same problem with my stent. Can you get your doctor to
prescribe Pyridium to ease the ureter spasms, and maybe Valium
to zone you out? Those helped some, but I still had to have the
stent removed within 2 days or I would have gone crazy.
