TRANSPLANT TOURISM
Friday, June 18 at 10pm ET/PT

THE PASSIONATE EYE presents Transplant Tourism, an exposé of the
global black market trade in human organs. Richard is a retired
Canadian businessman who opted to go overseas and buy a kidney from an
anonymous donor in Turkey. Confronted with his own mortality, and the
possibility he might die waiting for a life-saving transplant here in
Canada, Richard made a choice many people consider immoral. This
documentary reveals it's no longer just exotic sites and sounds that
bring wealthy tourists abroad, but a morally complex business of
supply and demand.
