Does anyone have any experience of dealing with coma patients. I am
particularly interested in hearing about the types of stimuli used and
the impact of positive and negative stimuli.

Depending on the damage done to the brain, patients in a coma can
differ. Some can hear but unable to talk. In this case, touch and
talking to the patient can be beneficial. We've heard of some who were
in a coma for years and suddenly came out of it. This may have occurred
because the brain healed itself but took years to do it. There should
be more studies done on the brain.
