Your computer can help find a cure for deseases as Alzheimer's,
Huntington's and Parkinson's. Idle time on your computer is needed by
the Chemistry Department at Stanford University. One of their research
project uses thousands of computers worldwide to analyze protein
folding. It is believed that flaws in protein folding are responsible
for many such serious deseases.

Here is how you can join in this cooperative effort. Point your
internet browser to http://folding.stanford.edu/download.html. Download
the correct installation program for you computer. Then run the
installation program. The program will run algorithms and merge the
results with those from thousands of other computers.

You should see no effect on your own use of the computer. The
algorithms run only when you are not using the computer's resources.
