| I remember that case vividly... you are trying to blame some nut's
suicide on LASIK.
First of all.. if you are going to blame somebody.. blame Gemoules for
failing to improve the patient's vision and misleading the patient
into thinking that he needed to wear intolerable double contacts to
improve his vision. I call that manslaughter.
Second.. there are quite a few blind people in the world, if you get
old enough.. you will get cataracts and eventually go blind.
Also.. people claim that deafness is actually worse than blindness. If
you thnk that imperfect vision or hearing is a reason to commit
suicide.. then you are totally insane.
Third.. assuming that this idiot who committed suicide did do it as a
result of his vision.. one might assume that had he not had LASIK, he
would have committed suicide years earlier.
Fourth.. why on earth didn't this patient get IOL's put in if he was
so desperate for improved vision? I will tell you why.. because IOLs
are put in by SURGEONS.. which the mighty quack Dr. G is not. He,
like Minarik, would never give up the $$$ in fitting a patient with
exotic lenses that cost thousands of dollars to a surgeon who could
pop in IOLs.
This is a fantastic example of just how insane you malcontents are...
how wrong you are, what liars and decievers you are.. and why there
are people who need to be sued for malpractice.
