Actually, LASIK almost always reduces visual quality as compared with
glasses or contact lenses. What's miraculous is that doctors who took
an oatho to 'first do no harm' are still performing this procedure on
healthy eyes.

There is no such thing as a 'good LASIK result' as the cornea is
irreparably harmed by the procedure. Bad surgeons ARE more likely to
completely disable a patient, as opposed to just producing somewhat
poorer visual quality which is more typical.
Why hasn't someone come forward with pre and post-op wavescans showing
that wavefront retreatment actually WORKED and lowered the higher order
aberrations in previously unoperated eyes? Why hasn't someone come
forward? Because wavefront treatments are a HOAX and they induce higher
order aberrations (corneal distortions) in patients' eyes. It is
nothing short of criminal that this practice continues.
Even the so-called 'best' surgeons have done serious harm to patients'
vision.
