Most people do not admit their problems, they are even denying
themselves the truth. I was talking to a lady who says she sees great
after lasik. I asked what her vision was and she said 20/40 and that
she can drive without glasses! I asked her to describe her night
vision, she said its great except for some halos and starbursts.

Looks like a typical lasik result and a patient in denial. I see far
better with glasses than she sees with lasik!

You just can't accept the fact that people are happy with their
surgery!
If the woman had 20/2000 vision before her surgery, she should be
doing cartwheels to have 20/40 vision.

Meanwhile, you sit their on your XXX with your glasses and advice the
whole world to not have lasik because you are envious of them because
mommy won't pay for you to have it done.

Someone is in denial?.. they won't accept the fact that they are not
happy with their vision... what kind of drugs are you on ACE?

I already know 90% of people are happy, dont say I cant accept. It is
their eyes and life and if they know what they are getting into, its
their choice. I wouldnt get lasik for free, so its not a monetary
issue. The risk, damage and tradeoff with lasik is not worth it. I dont
want dry eyes, I dont want a flap that never heals, I dont want bad
aberrations and the longterm complications and I see fine with glasses
and tolerate glasses allright. Come back when lasik is as safe as
contact lenses. Long way to go.
