Glenn says major lasik complications are 3%, .5% of them unresolved. Me
and others believe the complication rate to be triple that.

She doesnt know much about lasik or what HOAs were. It is possible she
also has a refractive error but her poor night vision is not normal,
but testament to lasik induced HOAs

Dont think she remembers. She isnt gonna bother with glasses for 20/30
UCVA, I wouldnt either!

I guess she was prepared to expect decreased vision, especially at
night and that could be reason she didnt seem overly disapointed. She
made the tradeoff and it was worth it for her.
HOAs cause alot more problems than residual refractive errors. My night
vision is better without my glasses than hers is after lasik! Granted I
see blurry, but my quality of vision is still far better than hers.

I guess she isnt as picky as you are. So in her case, she *did*
eliminate dependency on glasses. She can do everything without glasses,
even drive. Albet she has to be careful at night due to HOAs
