| He signs as either serebel or ragnar and has rendered this NG totally
useless. As you can see ,it now serves no other purpose but as an verbal
mugging spot for him.Being that he could never physically confront a
real person, this has become little ____'s way of getting back at all
those mean ol bullies, when hes not pulling wings off flies or burning
ants with a magnifying glass.
But what he hates the most is the truth being exposed about his hobby
of damaging eyes for profit. He must try his best to discredit these
truthful people.
Most people see this NG and know better than to seek real advice
here,fortunately.
Never risk your eyes so a greedy SOB like this can profit from it.
Read a real complication list instead and know these things DO
happen. Many of the victims have websites of their own because they
sincerely don't want to see this happen to someone else. This surgery
needs to be banned.

As much as I don't like seeing all the personal attacks in this newsgroup, I
also don't like to see the half truths and fantasies that others post.
I am sure complications occur, and if you had an unfortunate outcome, I feel
bad for you and wish you the best.
However, your total denunciation of the entire industry is just as, if not
more so, irresponsible as those you are attacking here. Everyone is entitled
to ones opinion, however, your approach is not doing your cause one bit of
good.
I have had lasik done and had no complications. I'm happy, safe and I'm not
going to apologize for my happy ending. And I personally know, real live
family, friends, neighbors and coworkers, who also have had happy endings.
Probably 15 or 20 people. They all have no regrets.
However, in my real life experience, I have yet to come across anyone, not
one single person, who has had any kind of negative experience after lasik
surgery. No one. Not a single one. Zero.
What does that tell me? It tells me that yes, bad experiences have happened.
But it also tells me it's not the apocalyptic tsunami that you claim it to
be.
If you want to make this newsgroup a better place, than temper your
protesting. State your case and allow others to state their's. Get rid of
all the crap, from where ever it is coming and allow newbies who come here
looking for a serious dialogue on the pros and cons of lasik to find it.

| You are right Jack.. however... people like rollette are not worth
trying to reason with. It is futile to try and communicate with the
mentally ill.

Now, now, now. You were obviously too stupid to read your consent
form. Millions of others read theirs and they are sooooo happy.
So, how's your four, six or eight eyes doing?

Way to go Mr. rude! Now your calling others stupid or retarded! The
informed consent forms exaggerate and dont state the true risks. They
need to amend the consent forms to say stuff like lasik damages every
eye, yours too will be damaged if you get lasik.
