People didnt know much about HOAs back then. Before wavefront lasik,
many people were experiencing a large increase in aberrations and had
subpar vision, especially in dim light. I read bad lasik stories and
many are from before the year 2000. One lady ended up with only 20/50
best corrected vision with double vision after lasik. Aberrations can
be measured but todays lasers cant reduce them in normal healthy virgin
corneas. I already explained several times why.
