freak accidents are unfortunate, they can happen anytime, anywhere. In
her case, the freak accident happened when the microkeratome slipped
and chopped her cornea off. But you have to remember someone looking to
get lasik assumes *all* risks. Anything can happen, you are taking a
chance. Its like someone playing with fire, he can get burnt. Or it
could be someone bungee jumping. The microkeratome is a knife and
accidents can happen when you take a knife to the eye/cornea. Welcome
back! Hows your lasik holding? How is your vision now and how seldom
are you wearing glasses
