Author Glenn Hagele of USAEYES / CRSQA loses his "Community Forum" bulletin board

Hagele used to wrap a frame around Dr. Trattler's bulletin board and
pretended that it was his own bulletin board. Since Dr. Trattler took
down his bulletin board, Hagele seems to have no bulletin board on
which he can post.

For more information on how Hagele tried to imply ownership of Dr.
Trattler's bulletin board, see the thread titled "Dr. Trattler says
CRSQA certification is a waste of money" at

Dr. Trattler has stated that the board will be up soon. We have always
given Dr. Trattler full credit for the bulletin board that is framed
at the ComplicatedEyes.org website.

It is very common for many websites to link to a common bulletin
board. That is not relevant.

Dr. Trattler should be more appreciative of Glenn since Glenn is a big
fan of Dr. T. Dr. T does read this newsgroup btw.

As far as being a waste of money.. there is one other certification
service that is definitely a waste of money - ABES. As for CRSQA
being a waste of money, I disagree. If for no other reason, it is
useful for finding good surgeons. There are a lot of mediocre
surgeons out there. A CRSQA certification is a lot better than a
random selection out of the yellow pages. CRSQA definitely has a
value to patients. Whether it has any value to a surgeon would amount
to whether or not it is effective advertising. Ironically.. even
though Dr. T is NOT CRSQA certified.. Glenn has spoken very highly of
him and endorsed him for his position on surface ablation (which I and
almost everyone in the industry disagree with). One might think that
a surgeon would be more appreciative of Glenn's endorsment of his
unconventional methods. Virtually all surgeons consider PRK to be a
last resort choice.

I am proud to announce that Trattler's site is now up and running.
Please run this on the "flappie" since of course I'm banned there.
And Hanson, please keep stuffing your foot in your mouth as you are
woefully wrong yet again.

I'm sure the find people at lasikflap will retract their error and
post the correct information below....
Yeah right. that was an early April Fool's joke. Of course they will
not corrrect their misinformation.
