Ace, since you "don't tolerate contacts full time", have you considered
just wearing contacts for situations where you don't want to deal with
glasses - eg sports, being out with friends etc. So, maximum time you'd
be in contacts would be 3-4 hours. You may find you tolerate contacts a
lot better this way.

I never wore contacts full time - just as above, so I'd have them in
for a few hours, then out again till next time. Sometimes in and out a
few times in one day. I found this meant my eyes weren't irritated by
them, they way they were if I tried wearing them 8-12 hours straight.
