Wow once for all you are right, Serebel! I almost fell over when I read
your reply!
Theres not much else to say, I was gonna say the same! One thing I want
to add is people ages 21 to around 45 can get lasik, but lasik is risky
for anyone. Lasik wont fix what glasses/contacts cant. How well does
she see with glasses? 20/40? It sounds like she has a very high
prescription, possibly too high for lasik.

Don't flatter yourself Ace.
LASIK is not risky.

The issue is why the girl is wearing contacts and glasses.. that
combination does not work.
She should be wearing JUST glasses or JUST contacts and take it from
there.

What SeRebel was saying was that she needs to get her vision situation
stable before she considers LASIK. Ace's idea is that she shouldn't
- and nobody should have lasik.

It is ironic that you mention that her prescription might be too high
for lasik. Lasik certainly can do -14 They did -11 on Tiger Woods
and his game immediately IMPROVED. You on the other hand.. have
been told over and over again that orthok is not effective for your
refractive error.. yet you refuse to believe that.

Ask Kashmira Karanji about Tiger Wood's night vision. She said it was
sh*t at a LASIK casualty convention.

The best thing you can do to prevent a poor LASIK outcome is to become
an expert.

Try reading The LASIK Report at http://thelasikreport.com . It is
relatively short and by the time you are finished
reading it you should know much of what you need to know to make a
decision about the surgery.

It is my firm belief that any reasonably intelligent person who is
FULLY informed about LASIK surgery and
FULLY understands the surgey would not want it for their own eyes.
Prominent surgeons have ALREADY
stopped performing the procedure because of the many surgical and
post-surgical problems with the
LASIK flap.

You should know that corneal integrity is never restored after LASIK -
that's right, the flap never heals. It just
seals a bit around the edges, and like a tupperware lid there is really
nothing holding it in the center. That's
why the LASIK flap has only 2.4% of the tensile strength of a normal
cornea. Would you wish this on anyone?

Do a search on http://lasikflap.com/forum using the words 'flap and
'heals' and you will find peer-reviewed
medical literature documenting this lifetime problem and it's
associated risks.

who the hell is Kashagoo whaetever?
Tiger Woods has more PGA major wins of anybody of his age in all time,
and is extremely likely to be the most successful golfer of all time
by the time he retires. His pre-operative vision was -11

He has been married to a blonde barbie doll model for several years...
so who this Kasha nut is.. is a mystery.

Tiger had his lasik surgery in 1999
Here is a link to it:

http://www.tlcvision.com/why_famouspeople_tiger.fxml

He is THRILLED with it.

Thank you Glenn and Ragnar for pointing out the meaning of my post to
the retard. He still won't get it, he's way too stupid to understand.

We dont know if she wears both contacts *and* glasses at the same time.
We know she wears contacts and we know she wears glasses. if her eyes
are that bad she needs both, lasik wont do her any good, she will still
need correction full time. No competent surgeon will lasik a -14 today,
he would be pushing IOLs instead(phakic for younger people, aphakic for
older people) In fact surgeons consider -8 to -10 the limit, any higher
and youll either be rejected, offered IOLs or told you wont be fully
corrected with lasik and youll need glasses for driving.

I dont know what her visual situation is, but she needs to know lasik
wont give her better vision than glasses(other than no minification)
and her contact lens vision is the best itll be, especially if they are
RGP.

No one cares what you think, retard.
