Most patients have no idea how much vision they have lost because they
don't have a 'good eye' for comparison. Imagine having full contrast,
excellent night vision with crispness and rich colors... and comparing
that to a LASIK eye with its loss of contrast sensitivity and overall
lower visual quality. See what Dr. James J Salz has to say about
bilateral simultaneous LASIK!

I agree. I know a few people who got one eye done and will never touch
the other! Sucks having a ruined eye, but better than both ruined eyes

You are out of your mind.. you do not know ANYBODY who got one eye
done. Furthermore... anybody that has one eye done will have the
other eye done a few months later if not sooner.

Why don't you try telling some lies that someone will believe?
Better yet.. why don't you just go away? Nobody here wants you
here.. including the malcontents.

I would say that vision in my right eye is not as sharp as it was with
my RGP's. But, I knew that going into it, and it is still great and
much better than wearing contacts.

If I lost any contrast or sharpness to m vision by having Lasik done,
it was well worth the trade-off of not having to rely on removeable
visual aids just to have functional vision.

The flappies will decide how good or bad your vision is, according to
them, you're not smart enough to decide this for yourself.

Well to make things easier, you refused to wear glasses or even
contacts and went around with 20/150 vision much of the time. So almost
anything better than that would make you happy. Basically it was your
UCVA compared to lasik. How well do you see now after lasik and whats
your new prescription?

That description will get your flappie decoder ring confiscated.

So im assuming you are plano now? Otherwise you wouldnt be 20/15. What
was your prescription at the time of getting lasik? You thought you
were -2.5 but wasnt sure exactly but you did see almost perfect with -2
glasses and had a UCVA of slightly worse than 20/100. Youll need
reading glasses however, but you already said youd rather have distance
than near vision.(to the tune of $4000 plus risks)
