Linda claims that posting links to articles Glenn Hagele has publicly
written about his use of a Russian translation service is racist. Okay, I
won't link to the articles, I'll describe them.

1) Glenn Hagele himself publicly writes comments on a web site titled
"Russian Women Guide - The World's PREMIER Guide to Russian Women and
Marriage Agencies".

2) Glenn Hagele publicly praises a translator with an article titled "This
couple has already come through K1 visa process, she is here in Sacramento,
CA, they got married and are very happy together." Again, this is a public
article that Hagele himself wrote.

Linda assumes that referring to Hagele's postings indicates "racism", even
though there are no comments regarding "race" on the websites. However,
clearly, the web sites deal with men going to Russia to find wives. Does
Linda think it is a shameful thing for American men to marry Russian women?
Quite interesting indeed...

I don't make any judgment's on the matter. However, 100% of voters at
http://www.lasikflap.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=214 currently believe that
Hagele married a Russian woman because "American women aren't dumb enough to
fall for his B.S."

It is even more interesting that Hagele began writing derogatory comments
about me in Russian when axxx indicated that he/she lives in Russia. Hagele
apparently assumed that a Russian is incapable of understanding English. My
conclusion is that Hagele himself harbors some bigotry toward Russian's with
respect to his assumption that Russians cannot read English. I wonder what
his wife thinks about this?

Let me quote one poster from LasikFlap.com regarding Hagele: "The constant
need for deception to promote self-advancement is the classic characteristic
of a sociopathic mind. I'm not actually saying that Glenn Hagele is
sociopathic, since 'I am not a doctor.' I'm only saying that, as a
layperson, it would appear to me that he is displaying sociopathic
tendencies in the way he is trying to earn a living."

Sheila,
I particularly liked his comment about having no way to delete my
posts???!!!!! He must have thought this was HIS website. I was
staggered at his arrogance! I don't care if he calls me potty mouthed.
It's what is in your heart that counts and I would never involve
someone's personal life on a public NG. It's just plain wrong!!!

That is so funny. Glenn asked me the same question recently! No, I have
an American sister-in-law. My younger brother is an investment banker
in California. He met his wife in Australia because she came over on a
business trip for the bank. They commuted back and forth for a while,
but he eventually decided to live and work in the US so he could be
with her. She is absolutely delightful and she even understands our
humour! Yes, we can be very crude, but as a nation, we are descendents
of british convicts, so maybe that explains it! LOL!
