| Only those who are familiar with Kathy Griffin's tirades will
appreciate this.
Griffin has recently been pulling out all the stops to get her career
rolling. She does every talk show, every reality show, every
celebrity fashion critque show, etc. From this she managed to get
some specials and a series. Unfortunately for her, she isn't very
funny. She is as insulting and vile as Joan Rivers, only Joan was
funny, Kathy is not. Kathy consistenly brutalizes everyone with her
cruel barbs - hoping ot squeeze a few laughs out of it. Ironically,
she can't take any criticism herself. When Jay Leno pointed out that
she looked like the girl who didn't get taken home after a date - she
got irate, tearful, etc.
Virtually all talk shows have "banned" her, mostly because she just
isn't funny. Her series has tanked in the ratings and is the last tv
work she will ever get.
Now comes the clincher.. who's fault is it that she is a complete and
total failure? Her husband's of course. She filed for divorce on
Friday.
If you have ever seen her husband on her show, that man has dedicated
his life to kissing her XXX and trying to help her. He is so lucky to
be free of that psycho.

| I wonder if they'll post her "demise" on LME. Let me guess, no. They'll
spin her divorce on lasik if they mention it.

| Yes... LASIK resulted in her marriage falling apart.
Her husband is very lucky. in the state she lives in, he get's half
her stuff. She doesn't want to pay him any alimony though. That
confuses me... why should a woman get alimony in a divorce.. but not a
man? Perhaps neither should. Anyway, Griffin's career is just
about over. She can go get a real job working for $8 / hour.
Way off topic here.. but speaking of TV shows tanking... anyone
remember the full season of shows where they picked a "New" Partridge
Family? That went on for many months. I feel bad for the "winners".
The series was never made. All that was done is one pilot episode to
launch the series - which wound up never being made. They got French
Stewart from "3rd Rock From the Sun" to play the part of Reuben
Kincaid.
I have an idea of a great TV movie. Get ahold of Sally Field and have
her do a movie similary to "Sybil" titled "Griffin - A Human
Trainwreck". Hanson could play all the other roles in the movie with
his multiple personalities. With all those personalities, one of them
might get along with Griffin.. He could get his own movie "Son of
Sybil"
