The ability to have clear medium near vision indicates that you can
still accommodate quite well. You would lose that with RLE, but retain
it with P-IOLs.

Keep in mind that the P-IOLs will need to come out when you develop
cataracts or if the cells on the back side of the cornea (endothelium)
become too sparse because of the P-IOL. The P-IOL is temporary, but
long-term.
