| Probably in the next five years, surface RS or implants will continue
to lead the way. If you are considering RS in that time frame, you will
have more choices to best suit your needs. Proper planning is the best
way.

| Something totally unknown may sudden be discovered, but that is
probably not likely. A lot of current effort seems to be toward the
development of accommodating intraocular lenses, multifocal
intraocular lenses, phakic intraocular lenses, as well as refinement
of wavefront-guided LASIK/PRK/LASEK/Epi-LASIK.
What may be appropriate depends greatly upon the circumstances of the
individual. It may be that one of these techniques holds the promise
of a much better outcome than what is available today, or that there
won't be much difference at all.

etc. or your legs will fall off".

| I'm not a zealot.... just trying to tell people what I wish I had heard
before surgery.
No, your legs won't fall off if you have LASIK but your corneas will never
be healthy
and you will lose optical quality.
