Author SErebel is a walking LASIK COMPLICATION in DENIAL
Cathy

2005-08-13, 5:55 pm

SErebel has admitted that he STILL wears plugs for dry eye and has blurry
vision for several hours in the morning if he sleeps
the wrong way on his PILLOW.

A female poster named ILANA was mistakenly called HANA by SErebel because he
couldn't see clearly to distinguish IL
from H on his computer screen. Poor thing.

SErebel is a walking LASIK COMPLICATION in DENIAL.

Here we go again.

1) I have the plugs in because because of them, I rarely get colds any
more.
2) If I sleep with my eyes mashed in the pillow, my vision is not as
crisp for an hour or two, not blurry.
3)The "Hana" thing was only a quick glance misspelling, that's all.
News papers do it all the time and they're proof read.
4) It's amazing how a person who has never met me can diagnose my
eyesight. Even Minarik or Gemoules would never do that.

Thank you for your "concern" Cathy but I think I will continue enjoying
my "complications".

This is exactly the sort of garbage that gives the anti-lasik posters a
bad name. It appears to me, that anyone who has a happy outcome is in
denial! What an absolute load of garbage!

This is pretty much off topic, but since that is interesting.. How did you
come to the conclusion that the plugs prevent common cold? Any links about
the subject? I've been thinking that eyes may participate in catching
airborne viruses, but I didn't think anyone had actually noticed this.

I don't know very much about the subject. Are viruses more often transmitted
and caught by touch or by air?

Pauli,

This is not by any means a studied conclusion, that I know of.

I always rub the nose side corner of my eyes, before and after lasik.
Where I rub(around the lower puncta), drain directly into the sinuses.
Plugged up, the little germies on my finger can't get through.
Coincidence, maybe. For me, I went from about four colds /year to just
one in the last few years. Other than the plugs, I haven't done
anything differently.
What I know for certain, viruses are transmitted by touch.

I find it laughable that you must defend your own opinion that your
own vision is acceptable after your own refractive surgery, however if
you challenge any of these anti-LASIK zealots about their purported
problems, they hit the roof.

I find it even better when these people who never in their lives met me
can diagnose me, and it's always the same, I've gone blind.

Punctal plugs are for dry eye. They don't prevent anyone from getting colds.
Your vision is blurry when you sleep on a pillow face down because your
corneas
are too thin to provide adequate support for the front of your eye. Sounds
like
you may be a future ectasia candidate.

That Hana thing was pretty serious. ILANA and HANA do not look allike to
people
who have normal vision.

Sorry you're so screwed up and are having such a hard time dealing with it
mentally.

Sneezing and even breathing transmit viruses. You can get them shaking
hands, or from
a phone. Touching your nose directly is enough. Likely most of them are
inhaled. Sneezes
propel virus particles with powerful force.

Well, the patients on the bulletin board have topographies showing
undersized ablations, off
center ablations, have had corneal transplants from bad LASIK, have dry eye
with horrible
Schirmer's test results to prove it - they don't need you to tell them they
don't have a problem.

What's really sick and laughable is that SErebel DOES have problems and
denies them. Hmmmm.

Not in denial neccessarily. Just unaware of the damage that's been done to
their eyes. Just as many cigarette smokers
puffed away for decades....

They(plugs) seem to do it for me. If it hapens to be a "side effect"
for me, okay I'll be glad to take it.

I'd much rather live in my "mentally screwed up world" than yours. I'm
enjoying my vision, ARE YOU ???

I was referring to one person (SErebel) who has stated unequivocally
that he is satisfied with his LASIK outcome. No other references were
made or implied.

feet are crooked now.

Yup, just as suspected. serebel has as bad a case of denial, projection
and object transformation as i have seen, even in schizophrenic
homeless pts. the need for plugs and a thin, extremely malleble cornea
are just two physical complications that manifest at this time. serebel
does have a lot of hatred and anger toward the lasik industry, but
serebel's organism protection mechanism will not let it realize that.
instead serebel has well-constructed denial, object transformation and
projection systems to protect it from reality.

However, a complication for one person is not one for another, and as
long as serebel feels it is not a complication, well then, it is not a
complication. Nod, nod, wink, wink.

i've said it before, i'll say it again, i'd make a mint if serebel and
raggie were my patients. and i don't mean lasik. we're talking decades
on the couch...

Frank here has also never met me yet he "knows" all about me. Amazing
how these losers know so much about others when they can't even get
their own act straight. I see just fine, so I am in denial. Misery
does'nt like company here, misery craves it like a drug here. BTW,
how's the great "hunt" going Frankie babes?
