WTF????

You really are a moron, aren't you. Talk about consistency.

Read the post stupid. I said that ther is no reason someone with -11.00
and cyl can't have good vision, as SErebel suggested. I also said that
there was no reason they would not be affected by haloes after Lasik.
In fact, it is expected due to the smaller ablation zone necessary.

Will RGP lenses fix haloes if they are present? Probably.

My point here is SErebel is making assumptions that are unwarranted. Is
Lou Coma grandstanding? Possibly, but I can vouch that he does know how
to fit a C/L and does carry extensive trial sets for his rehab
patients. There is a high probability that he can do something about
the haloes of a patient with that complaint.

For what it is worth, correcting cyls is not an automatic site
(shouldn't that be SIDE) effect of Lasik, it is a component of the
ablation programmed into the laser. Secondly, correcting Hyperopia DOES
involve ablating the central cornea, or there would not be any change
in prescription. The purpose of the peripheral doughnut is to leave a
button in the centre that can be altered. Cyls can then be corrected by
the central ablation.

Can you please learn something about the subject before you post, it is
really embarrassing having to give lessons in optics to a computer
repairer over the internet.
