Tiger Woods was -11 with significant astigmatism before LASIK.
correcting astigmatism is an automatic site effect of LASIK since it
ablates the cornea in the central optical zone. Unfortunately with
H-Lasik, the ablated corneal area is a circular groove around the
perimeter of the eye - leaving the central area untouched - and not
doing anything to correct astigmatism.
