| Funny that you mention that. I have never heard of anyone who wanted
LASIK changing their minds based upon "research". I have heard of
people delaying the procedure or not being able to afford it or not
being suitable for it though.
Incidentally, the laser is magnificent in that while it completely
ablates/vaporized the tissue that it hits, it does this while only
raising the temperature of the surrounding tissue by 3 degrees! That
is hardly a burn. Also, the tissue that is removed is done so in
pulses which are each precisely accurate to within 1/200 the thickness
of a human hair. Those lasers have been demonstrated to carve
complesx designs into a human hair in a micro-sculpture.
