| Here's just an illustration of how a malcontent thinks. This was
inspired by Kathy Griffin.
"oh I had lasik.. it was awful!"
what did you do to correct it?
"I had more lasik done of course! I can't stand contacts or glasses!"
did that work?
"yes, but I want it better.. I'm going back for more lasik!"
did that help?
"I hate my vision! I hate lasik! now I'm presbyopic!"
so what are you going to do? wear reading glasses?
"NO! I need MORE lasik! H-lasik they call it.. I want monovisin!"
have you had monovision with contacts before?
"no... I can't stand contacts"
so how do you like your monovision?
"I hate it! it's horrible!"
what are you going to do?
"have more lasik of course!"
how did that go?
"terrible! now I have epithelial ingrowth!"
what are you going to do?
"I got a new lasik surgeon to go to!! he will fix it!"
While the above sounds absurd, that is 6 procedures. There is another
malcontent I know of that had at least 9 procedures (I think it's
actually 10 now).
