SPEAK OUT!

EVERY POST-LASIK I HAVE INTERVIEWED HAS SOME ISSUE WITH THEIR LASIK... EYES
A LITTLE DRY, SOME NIGHT VISION PROBLEMS, NOTICEABLE LOSS OF CONTRAST
SENSITIVITY. PERHAPS THEIR VISION IS NOT AS CRISP AS BEFORE LASIK. THERE MAY
BE SOME PAIN. THERE IS ALWAYS SOME ISSUE IF YOU KNOW WHAT QUESTIONS TO
ASK...

LASIK- damaged Recent college Grad Says THANKS

I was going to drop you a brief note around this time of year telling you
that I thought what you were doing re post-RS pts to help them (& prevent
others from reaching a point where they would need help) was a special
thing. I'm not sure I can be helped, I've tried, but I know that many others
can be helped by your assistance and many can be prevented from ever
proceeding w/a surgery that would make them need such help. So, thank you.

Actually, this guy had one of the worst LASIK outcomes I have ever heard of.
No bull, he's been seen by all the top rehab specialists and could not be
helped. He went to the best lens fitters but he has so much LASIK-induced
corneal nerve damgage that his eyes are too dry to tolerate lenses. He's in
constant pain.

Denying this stuff is happening is sick, and a lie.

If he's had such a disaster.. why not have a corneal transplant?
That's not the answer for 99.999% of LASIK patients, but it seems like
it is for him.
