| Well 3 days ago I went in for my 3 month follow up visit. I would have
gone the week before, but the morning of the appointment I developed a
migraine and between the possible visual effects of the migrain, and the
fact I take vicodin for it we decided it would be a good idea to
reschedule it.
I can read the 20/10 line on the chart. There are no visual effects that
I can discern other than the vision correction. The halos/starbursts
around lights at night are still less than I remember them being before
my surgery. No problems my optometrist could find with my corneas. I
occasionaly use eye drops, but mainly because they are at my desk. I am
on a computer 10+ hours a day on average. I actually feel the need for
drops at this point less often that I did before surgery, which surprises
the heck out of me. When I wake up in the morning, my eyes do feel
somewhat dry, but in 30 seconds to 2 minutes after waking up, my eyes feel
normal. I'm still driving about 20 minutes daily in night driving
conditions and have no trouble seeing the road, other cars, or objects at
the side of the road.
I am still EXTREMELY happy with my outcome.

| Glad to hear it Todd. Corneal sensation is comig back, that's why your
eyes feel drier than before. It will pass soon. Keep using the drops
for a few more months, I'm sure you'll stay happy with the result.

| Todd, I hope you realize that people who actually HAD the surgery get
ignored for the most part in this newsgroup. Unless you have
something negiative to say about someone you heard of having LASIK 10
years ago, you aren't going to get a response.
Your results are the typical results and very boring.

| Glad to hear of your good outcome.
Since the sensation that "tells" you your eyes need moisture can be
disrupted by LASIK, using those drops is not a bad idea. When working
on a computer, people tend to not blink as often. You cannot use too
many, so a routine of using preservative free eye drops when you are
working around your computer is wise.
