| LASIKtruth? that is ironic. Your post is the exact opposite of the
truth.
LASIK is undeniably the most predictable surgery ever performed. It
is the most widely done surgery ever. It's benefits far outweigh it's
risks.
I think the main flaw in your logic is that you fail to consider why
people have LASIK done. The HAVE a problem with their vision. In the
early days of Wavefront, it was even suggested that people with
completely normal eyes would have WaveFront LASIK done to give them
better than normal vision. That is probably not a good idea.
As an analogy. Consider someone with a broken leg. I'm sure you
would agree that a cast on that leg would benefit the person. If
someone doesn't have a broken leg, putting a cast on it is not a great
idea.
Your choices for spending money are interesting. You suggest that
instead of having one's vision improved, a person should blow that
money on a vacation or a car?
I want to see that dream car you are buying for $3500
my idea of a dream car is not a 1995 Dodge.
